So happy we found Laurie! Shortly after meeting her, we set up multiple home tours and sorted through different cities and price ranges to find what worked best for my husband and me. We were not pre-qualified for a loan yet but she provided a loan officer for us to touch base with to answer our questions and guide us in the right direction. The best part about Laurie is that she is so available to answer questions. A quick call or text and she answered everything thoroughly. Can't say enough good things about Laurie - she helped my girlfriend and I find our first home. Before her, we went through a few realtors who we just didn't see eye to eye with. Other realtors took us to homes/condos not in our budget, not in the areas we wanted, or that didn't have the specs we wanted. With Laurie, it was so easy.
She only showed us homes that fit what we were looking for, so we never felt like we were wasting our time. She also has a lot of connections, so was able to give us a heads up on properties that we'd potentially be interested in.
She answered all of our many, many questions and helped us through every step of the offer making/escrow process. She was even able to recommend someone who redid our floors before we moved in!

Laurie was fantastic to work with. The first time I met with her and her husband Mike, we felt comfortable interacting with them.
I really appreciated that they weren’t just selling us any house, as fast as they could. They took the time and spent multiple months looking with us, and sending us house recommendations that might fit what we were looking for.
And even when looking at houses with them, they were always quick to point out things to look for, additional costs / repairs the house needed, etc.
We found our dream home in 3 months thanks to them, and they made it (almost) painless (because let’s be real, buying a house is stressful).

My fiance and I were first time home buyers so clearly we really had no idea what we were doing. Laurie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the entire process. She went above and beyond when we were looking and then also eventually when we decided to make an offer. One of the things that we loved about Laurie is that she made herself available at any time and responded to any questions we had so fast which definitely calmed our nerves. Laurie is the absolute best! She was with us every step of the way when buying our first home. I didn't know what to expect once we finally found the perfect place. I can't begin to describe how fantastic Laurie and her team are! My wife and I decided we would check out an open house... We met Laurie during the open house... Professional, warm, courteous... My wife and I decided to make an offer.. Since we didn't live in the area we asked for for her to represent us as the buyer. I have worked with many real estate agents in the past and I must say that Laurie is one of the best. She gets it done! She put us in touch with a fantastic loan officer and we closed escrow with no issues. A true professional! So when it came time to sell our house over 60 miles away we decided that we wanted Laurie to represent us. Within 4 days of being on the market she had offers on the table. I have worked with other agents in the past and Laurie makes it look easy!

My husband and I met Laurie when we began thinking about selling our house and buying a new home. I found her on yelp, thankfully, and sent her an email requesting some information. She responded to our inquiry the same day and was very helpful. Laurie gave us all the information we needed and we decided to sell/buy. Next thing you know, we were showing our house and receiving offers. She was there every step of the way until it was sold. At the same time, she was guiding us through finding a new home that was right for us. The first and only offer we gave was accepted because of Laurie's hard work and persistence. They're a great husband/wife team who worked seamlessly together from the get-go, using their expertise to guide us through every step of the transaction. They assisted us in locating very reliable companies for painting the entire home, installation of new carpeting throughout, and performing repairs to correct minor deficiencies.
Immediately following the Open House, we received five offers, and a few days later accepted an all-cash offer that exceeded the listing price. We closed escrow fourteen-days later. This quick turnaround required close coordination with Mike & Laurie, to ensure that every action was responded to immediately (by Seller, Buyer, and the Escrow company).

I had to find a Realtor with whom I could work, long distance, AND Trust… like Family! Amazingly, I found, just that, in Laurie and Mike Nowland. They are like no Realtors I have ever met. The personal attention they provide, the Heart and Soul they put into their work, is difficult to adequately describe in a simple, online review. When I chose to move out of state, to be close to my elderly parents, I rented out my home in California. Twelve years quickly passed, and my tenant notified me that she, too, would be leaving the state. My father, now a widower at 94 and in Home Hospice, needed me 24/7. Caring for him and trying to find a new tenant—300 miles away, was just too much. Laurie, with her attentive and compassionate demeanor, earned my trust almost instantly. After discussing her and Mike’s combined experience and extensive knowledge of the area, I knew -- Laurie and Mike -- The Nowland Group was the very Team that I needed! From the word "Go," Laurie got the ball rolling - finding comps, making appointments with contractors, cleaning companies, photographers, contacting anyone and everyone needed to get the work done. In tandem, she would be guiding me on where best to spend money for upgrades that would grab a buyer’s attention. Laurie even shopped and bargained for products and services, on my behalf. Yes, Laurie ‘Took Charge,’ but her professional conduct made it very clear that I, as the client, was always the one in complete control. Mike worked tirelessly. Just the thought of selling my home from afar, while caring for my father, was beyond overwhelming. Mike and Laurie helped me stay Grounded and helped me keep things in Perspective. As would a dear friend or a close family member, they provided me with their Full Support. Together, they were my Strength. Like Angels Watching Over Me, they Guided Me, and Handled Everything without my presence. They Eased my Burden, every step of the way. I genuinely Felt Safe…knowing I was In Their Care. Never Too Busy to take my call - Never Too Busy to take on, what could not…from a distance. To say Laurie and Mike went the "Extra Mile" is so cliché, but so very true. I HIGHLY recommend them, individually, or together. I cannot imagine finding any two people better for the job!

I was referred to Laurie by a good friend when I was planning on selling my condo. I had planned on interviewing a few realtors before making a selection, however, after I met with Laurie I knew there was no need to interview anyone else. I felt from the beginning she was the right person to sell my condo. She answered all my questions, called me back quickly after I left a message and walked me through all the paperwork. My condo sold in two days with a 30 day escrow. It was a very smooth transaction. She went over and beyond to help me and even helped me sell a piece of furniture I was not taking with me.
